Dry Skin

Dry skin is a skin type in which the skin does not produce enough natural oil (sebum) or loses moisture too quickly. As a result, the skin lacks the oils and water needed to stay soft, smooth, and healthy.

Characteristics of dry skin

  • Rough or flaky texture
  • Tight feeling, especially after washing
  • Dull appearance with little natural shine
  • Small, less visible pores
  • Fine lines may appear more noticeable due to dehydration
  • Skin may become itchy, irritated, or mildly red, especially in cold or dry weather
